We didn't need to find this

This was discovered in the South Pacific. The albino, ape armed, first sign of the apocalypse. First Oceanic flight 815 goes down in the South Pacific and now we find the sign of the beast. Coinsidence?! I think not.

Here is a direct quote from the story in CNN.

"The animal is white and 5.9 inches long -- about the size of a salad plate. (Why, why, why the salad plate imagery!!!! I'm not trying to order this mother fucker at Red Lobster) A "surprising characteristic," the animal's pincers are covered with sinuous, hair-like strands. It's also blind. (keeping that winning streak going) The researchers found it had only "the vestige of a membrane" in place of eyes."

Vestige of a membrane? Hair like strands?

I'm thinking it went down like this. Jim Henson boarded an Oceanic flight from Austrailia to LA. He had just come up with a new "handicaped, albino crab friend who spoke spanish" for Sesame street. (to help kids keep it real with diversity). His plane crashed on the "Lost" island, his luggage was never found!! You fill in the gaps.

By the way where is Jim Henson now? I haven't seen any new episodes of the muppet show lately? How funny you should ask!!! Oh well, he died of a mysterious infection back in 1990 check out this news coverage from people magazine.

"How can a healthy man in his 50s succumb so abruptly to a garden-variety illness like pneumonia? To Dr. Edward Kaplan, an authority on streptococcal infections, Jim Henson's death was tragic but not unfamiliar. The organism that killed Henson, Group A streptococcus bacteria, is not rare, but it can occasionally cause an overwhelming infection that is unusually virulent."

Coincedence? I think not. Notice the word organism is interchangeable with "albino, ape armed, first sign of the apocalypse". So I vote to just leave that thing alone. Some things are better left a mystery.
