Lord of the Flies





Tessa Farmer describes her work as ‘a tool to realize imaginative possibilities that might otherwise linger unseen, just beneath the surface'. I describe her work as sorta creepy and the kind of stuff you try not to dream about....The tiny fairies and hell's angels she creates from plant and tree roots owe their scale to the insect wings which sprout from their backs. Just think if Tessa Farmer had been working her fairy magic 95 years ago she could have gotten in on the Cottingley Fairy scam (image below) - which was "fairly" famous for the time.
